Transport

A train is leaving every 30 minutes from Schiphol Airport to Den Haag Centraal (The Hague Central Station). The train departs from platform 5-6 and has destination Leiden Centraal.

From the central Station of The Hague it's only 15 minutes by tram (Tram 9 to Noorderstrand, stop: Kurhaus). The tram leaves every 7 minutes from right outside the Central Station.

A taxi from Schiphol Airport to The Steigenberger Kurhaus hotel will cost around € 50,- if you use a airport taxi service.

A taxi from The Hague Central Station to The Steigenberger Kurhaus hotel will cost around € 25.

There are four car parks nearby the Kurhaus:

  1. Parking Scheveningen Bad, Zwolsestraat 426
  2. Parking Kurhaus, Gevers Deynootplein 189
  3. Parking Nieuwe Parklaan 248
  4. Parking Zwarte Pad

Accomodation

Two types of rooms are available in the Steigenberger Kurhaus Hotel:
executive rooms: € 250,- (incl. breakfast)
superior rooms: € 175,- (incl. breakfast)

Both types of rooms are also available with a sea view at an extra expense of € 40 for superior rooms and € 20 for executive rooms.

The Carlton Beach Hotel is nearby the Kurhaus hotel. They offer rooms for € 125 per night.

Materials (flyers, posters, website)

Participants are invited to prepare written or electronic materials in English about evidence-based programmes, national policies or projects, and supporting resources in their countries, that could offer useful models to other countries.

Flyers can be distributed during the conference. Special tables are available.

A limited number of poster stands will be available at the conference. The size of the stands will be around 118x146 (wxh). If you are interested in using a posterstand please e-mail to the conference secretariat (dataprev@psych.ru.nl).
